Description:

Hexagon Group are proud to be working with one of the UK's leading residential management companies in their search for a Handyperson to join the on-site team at a super-prime residential development in South West London. The salary for this role is up to £36,000, plus company benefits.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional to work within a first-class environment, delivering outstanding service to residents whilst ensuring the building is maintained to the highest possible standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across the development, helping to create a safe, efficient, and exceptionally well-presented living environment.

You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of general maintenance and minor repairs across the building, including basic plumbing, carpentry, first fix electrical works, and painting and decorating. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, you'll assist with routine inspections and health & safety checks, ensuring all communal areas, plant rooms, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to an exceptional standard. You'll respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and the on-site team, coordinate contractor access for specialist works, monitor stock levels of tools and consumables, and maintain accurate maintenance records, proactively reporting any defects, risks, or issues requiring further attention.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Handyperson, Building Maintenance, or Facilities role, ideally gained within a residential, hospitality, or similarly customer-focused environment. You will possess strong all-round maintenance skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a solid understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements. With excellent communication and customer service skills, you'll be confident working independently whilst also contributing effectively as part of a wider on-site team. A relevant qualification, such as a City & Guilds or NVQ in a building maintenance or trade discipline, would be advantageous but is not essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious development where quality and service are paramount. If you take pride in your work and are looking to join a forward-thinking property management company, we'd love to hear from you
