Our client is looking to recruit a H & S Advisor
Brentwood based Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
£40,000 - £45,000
Overview
The successful candidate will deliver a proactive health and safety service, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and establishing effective policies, procedures and safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Health & Safety Management and Compliance
* Risk Assessments and Workplace Inspections
* Accident and Incident Management
* Training and Employee Engagement
* Auditing, Reporting and Continuous Improvement
Person Specification
* Previous health and safety experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, automotive or similar environments.
* Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
* Experience conducting risk assessments, inspections, investigations and audits.
* Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Qualifications
* NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent.
* IOSH Managing Safely.
* Internal Auditor training or relevant auditing experience.
* Experience with COSHH assessments and safety data sheets.
