Tired of working long hours as an HGV Class 2 Driver Getting up early and getting home very late, this could be the career change you have been looking for! Vacancies now exist within Residential Waste Service based in Sheffield as a Refuse Collection Driver. The successful applicants will be responsible for an allocated Class 2 vehicle and a regular crew in the removal of all household refuse from a variety of locations. You will also be responsible for vehicle checks including completion of Tachograph or vehicle logs as required. Role Purpose: · To provide Refuse Collection throughout Sheffield, as a Refuse Driver operating a Class 2 Vehicle · To take responsibility for an allocated vehicle and when appropriate, an allocated crew in the removal of all household refuse on a fixed route within Sheffield. · To undertake a variety of tasks to achieve the above which may involve driving different types of vehicles and/or performing the duties of a Refuse Operative
