Guest Services Associate
Location: Yoxford
Salary: Competitive salary + commission (approx. £4/5k per year)
Contract: Permanent position
Hours: 45 hours per week, 5 days over 7 on a rota basis
We're recruiting for a guest services associate with experience in events planning to join a prestigious luxury hospitality destination near Yoxford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised, customer-focused individual who is passionate about creating unforgettable celebrations and special occasions.
Working closely with guests from initial enquiry through to event delivery, you'll provide a personalised planning service, coordinating every detail to ensure memorable experiences. Whether it's birthdays, anniversaries, private gatherings or bespoke celebrations, you'll play a key role in bringing each guest's vision to life while supporting revenue growth through tailored event packages and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage celebration and special event enquiries from initial enquiry through to event completion.
Coordinate all aspects of guest celebrations, including accommodation, dining, activities and special requests.
Build strong relationships with guests through phone, email and face-to-face communication.
Create bespoke event proposals tailored to guests' requirements and budgets.
Liaise with multiple departments to ensure seamless event planning and delivery.
Identify opportunities to enhance celebrations through additional experiences, upgrades and packages.
Maintain accurate event records, booking information and guest preferences.
Support departmental KPIs, sales targets and guest satisfaction objectives.
Resolve guest queries and last-minute requests in a professional and proactive manner. What We're Looking For:
Previous experience within events, hospitality, weddings, celebrations, guest services
Proven experience working towards sales targets and KPIs.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to confidently upsell event packages, experiences and services.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Creative and proactive approach to event planning and problem-solving.
Professional, enthusiastic and guest-focused attitude.
