You'll play a key role in delivering high‑quality plant production, while supporting and developing a team to achieve strong results across the nursery.

This is a hands‑on role that combines technical growing with people leadership and operational support.

Day to day, you'll be:

Supporting crop production to ensure plants are grown to the highest quality
Managing key growing activities, including potting, spacing and crop care
Overseeing pest and disease programmes and input applications
Working closely with stock and sales teams to align production with demand
Supporting training, mentoring and development of the growing team
Assisting with planning, labour coordination and daily operations
Driving continuous improvement across quality, efficiency and processesYou'll be part of a wider production team, with the opportunity to contribute ideas, improve systems, and influence how the nursery operates.

What do I need?

Experience working in a commercial nursery or growing environment
Strong practical growing knowledge (protected crops)
Experience supporting or leading teams, or ready to step up
Good attention to detail and a focus on quality
A proactive, hands‑on approach
Ability to work in a fast‑paced commercial environment
PA1 and PA6 would be ideal, but not essential.You don't need experience with the exact crops, if you've got solid growing knowledge and the right attitude, they'll support you.
