Description:

Berry Recruitment are currently looking for a Grower to work for a successful company within the Horticultural industry based near Wisbech.

You'll be part of the small growing team, taking responsibility for a dedicated area of glass. This is a hands-on, technical role where no two days are the same.

You'll be involved in:

· Crop walking and monitoring plant health

· Managing pests and diseases

· Following and adjusting growing schedules

· Spraying and irrigation

· General crop farming

· Working closely with the production and wider nursery teams

You'll report to the Technical Manager and work alongside the Head Grower, giving you the chance to learn and grow your skills in a supportive environment.

Working hours:

The role is seasonal in nature, so workloads will vary throughout the year. Weekend working is required during busy periods so flexibility required.

Requirements for this role:

· A horticulture or related qualification

· Ideally, you'll have commercial growing experience

· PA1 and PA6 certificates

· A practical, hands-on approach, you're happy pulling hoses and operating sprayers

· A genuine interest in plant production and a desire to develop your career

Salary depends on experience: £26,500-£31,000.
