We have a fantastic opportunity for a Group Transformation Director to join our senior leadership team.

Reporting directly to our CEO the primary purpose for this role is to lead, manage and drive identified major and complex Continuous Improvement (C.I) and Value Creation programmes across the Group at the required pace to deliver identified outcomes.

As a senior role within our business the job holder will be highly organised and influential in their collaboration and leadership which will include all areas of the business, with particular focus on Operations, People, Commercial and Finance.

Maintaining involvement, engagement and end point ownership with key stakeholders will be critical to success as will the ability to identify tangible outcomes that are then measured consistently until the projects are completed and closed. Often this will be required across multiple high priority programmes simultaneously.

Role Responsibilities

* Design, drive, and lead the Transformation Programme for the Group so that it delivers major and complex changes in direct support of business Value Creation Plans. Although not an exclusive list, these are expected to focus on mobilising new business opportunities, EBITDA expansion and operational excellence initiatives.

* Provide leadership of the Transformation Programme which establishes a clear approach and supporting processes centred on the use of evidenced based business cases including clear and measurable targets and sound financial analysis.

* Support the identification and coordination of resource implications for major projects and ensure the financial implication has been adequately considered prior to starting any process.

* Develop and nurture strong, positive relationships with key stakeholders to ensure engagement and delivery of change.

* Ensure excellent and robust governance arrangements across all transformation programmes and projects that support delivery of the overall business plan.

* Provide effective change management leadership and support so that the change vision is delivered using innovative solutions and clearly communicated across all stakeholder groups.

* Ensure that the Transformation Programme is resourced effectively through project management and through working effectively with business support services.

* Be a mentor, ambassador, and representative of EMED’s culture.

* Actively drive and influence people’s behaviour and actions to ensure they are aligned with the company values, vision, and objectives.

* Foster a collaborate, problem-solving and positive cross departmental mind-set and help to create a ‘one team’ mentality to deliver common goals.

* Inspire, motivate, and engage with frontline colleagues to instil the desired ‘employer of choice’ mentality across the operation.

* Act as the strategic lead to oversee any major new business mobilisation projects, from commercial close to delivery – key will be to oversee multiple concurrent projects.

* Where required support the demobilisation of contracts minimising commercial and financial risk.

Do you have what it takes?

* Professional expertise – A strong working knowledge of running large scale, complex transformational change programme, ideally within the NHS/public sector.

* Technical skills – Ideally finance trained or have spent considerable time in a finance facing role / organisation.

* Organisational skills – Personal efficiency and ability to prioritise competing demands (and those of others) and thrives when working under pressure.

* Communications skills – Ability to clearly communicate across a range of stakeholders, manage diverse personalities and viewpoints and quickly build relationships and collaborate with others.

* Commercial acumen – The ability to review project proposals, unpick financial assumptions and quickly ratify or challenge appropriately.

* Role modelling – Demonstrate and lead on the values, initiatives, and culture of the organisation.

* Coaching and mentoring – Whether senior management, junior colleagues, front line crews or middle management, you will be proficient in developing skills and bringing people with you.

* Trust – A trusted confidante and unafraid of giving your opinions and expertise.

* Problem Solver – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an instinct for what makes the business successful.

* Demonstratable experience working at a senior level in a complex environment, managing multiple transformation projects with a range of stakeholders.

* History of leading and delivering large scale transformational change and the ability to convey a compelling and engaging vision of change.

* Experience of translating strategy into delivery through plans, programmes, people, and culture.

* Comfortable working collaboratively with the senior business leaders and wider stakeholders to deliver identified objectives within agreed financial budgets.
