The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Group SHEQ Implementer to join a business in a key role supporting the implementation and development of its Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) systems across multiple UK sites.

Based from either Telford or Tamworth, you will work across sites in Tamworth, Telford, Scunthorpe, Paignton and Norwich, helping to maintain high standards of health and safety, environmental compliance and quality management.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in SHEQ within an industrial or manufacturing environment, who enjoys working with site teams, delivering training and driving continuous improvement.

Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments and gap analyses to identify areas for improvement.

Deliver SHEQ training and promote awareness of health, safety, environmental and quality procedures across the business.

Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventative actions.

Monitor compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and internal policies.

Maintain accurate SHEQ documentation, records and performance reports.

Support internal and external audits, certification processes and the timely resolution of non-conformances.

Work closely with site management and employees to promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement.

Monitor SHEQ performance and identify opportunities to reduce workplace incidents and improve standards across all sites.

What We're Looking For

NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

An accredited training qualification.

Membership of IOSH.

3-5 years' experience in SHEQ implementation, coordination or management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, delivering training and monitoring compliance.

A good understanding of relevant SHEQ legislation, ISO standards and industry best practice.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel regularly between UK sites.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SHEQ professional to take on a varied, group-wide role, supporting multiple sites and helping to embed consistent standards across the organisation.

If you have a hands-on approach to SHEQ, enjoy working with different teams and are passionate about improving safety, quality and environmental performance, we'd be keen to hear from you.
