Defour Partnership is working closely with an award winning National Social Care Charity recruiting for a Group Management Accountant.

Role

This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of charity financial reporting. This role produces and verifies that the Charity’s Management Accounts are representative and accurately reported to provide leadership with the financial information and analysis needed to make informed decisions, optimize costs, and drive overall financial performance. The role collaborates with internal departments to gather financial data and support with implementing best practices to enhance financial controls.

Salary: £40,000 – £43,000 per annum plus benefits

Flexibility! You can work your full time hours over 4 days and enjoy a long weekend, or work over 5 days to accommodate your other commitments.

Skills Knowledge and Experience

* ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA Qualified or Finalist

* Significant experience in Management Accounts, preferably within the charitable sector.

* Strong understanding of accounting concepts and principles.

* Ability to analyse complex financial data, interpret trends, and draw meaningful conclusions to support decision-making.

* Experience of providing accurate and meaningful summarised reports from mass data.

* Excellent Excel skills.
