We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Group Management Accountant to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to further develop their skills and experience within a supportive environment.
Group Management Accountant Role Overview:
As the Group Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation of financial reporting for our group of companies. Working closely with the Finance Director (FD), you will play a key role in preparing management accounts, forecasts, budgets, and balance sheet reconciliations. Additionally, you will assist with audit preparations, VAT returns, and other financial activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial information.
Group Management Accountant Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly management accounts for all group companies
Collaborate with the FD to develop board packs and support decision-making processes
Assist with monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and quarterly VAT returns
Manage finance assistant and oversee month-end journal postings
Develop and improve accounts processes within the group
Support product costings projects and manage from a finance perspective
Prepare cashflow statements and profitability reports
Provide backup support for payroll and sales/purchase ledger as neededGroup Management Accountant Requirements:
Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
Experience in E-commerce and/or manufacturing industry preferred
Intermediate/advanced Excel skills
Knowledge of Sage 50 preferred but not essentialGroup Management Accountant Desired Qualities:
