Our client is a PE backed acquisitive financial services business with ambitious expansion plans who are looking to recruit a Group Financial Controller to join their team.

The Role of Group Financial Controller
Reporting to the Finance Director, your duties will include but not limited to:
Financial Control & Business Partnering
* Monthly management accounts preparation including core business and new acquisitions; development of the group’s internal and external reporting aligned with and in conjunction with our strategic ambitions.
* Mange delivery of executive committee reporting with insightful and informative commentary on performance, KPI’s, trends, issues, activity, and risks.
* Business partnering with regional managing partners, functional heads, and budget holders.
* Oversight of daily/weekly cashflow across multiple banks and utilise to maximise treasury returns.
Catering for Growth
* As a member of the senior finance team, work collaboratively to evolve and embed control frameworks as we continue to grow.
* Identify and leverage opportunities for efficiencies and economies of scale whilst delivering effective internal control and governance of existing business and extending to new acquisitions.
* Utilise best practices in financial management, leveraging technology to streamline processes, improve efficiencies and identify inconsistences.
* Identify cost optimisation initiatives; organise tenders to procure group-wide arrangements.
Annual reporting
* Support the team on the group’s annual audit cycle and associated communications in accordance with the relevant accounting standards, regulations, and policies.
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
The Candidate for Group Financial Controller
* Qualified Accountant or a QBE
* Experience in a Regulated financial services business
* Experience of a PE backed business.
* Self-motivation and being a team player are essential
* Ability to thrive in a fast faced ever changing environment
