Group Credit Manager
Gloucester/Tamworth (hybrid)
£55-65k DOE - initial 6 month contract
Our client is looking for a Senior Credit Professional with end to end collection/AR experience as well as strong invoice to cash/order to bill experience, to come in and ensure cashflow whilst mitigating risk and reducing aged debt. This is initially a 6 month contract but is very likely to extend beyond whilst supporting on a number of projects across the group.
SF are working with a large services business based in Gloucestershire, they are market leaders across several sectors and the group they have been growing organically and through acquisitions. The group are now invoicing over 3500 customers with over 5000 invoices being processed a month. Made up over 10 entities across the Group, the incoming Group Credit Manager will need to have strong business acumen, strong Business partnering skills and a process improvement mindset to lead the team of 17 in credit and influence those in operations, finance and sales across the business.
What you'll need:
MCICM qualification is desirable
Extensive experience in managing a team & function in a complex business
Strong track record with Aged debt reduction/strong query management skills
Strong system experience, billing platforms, ERPs, Excel - Sage desirable but not essential
Process improvement experience both with Credit procedures/policies but also automation/systems
