Group Controller

Description:

Our client are a leading international technology firm with a reputation for excellence in all that they do. As part of their continued expansion, they are now seeking a Group Controller to join a growing team. You will be a determined, focused leader that takes responsibility for managing the entire financial reporting process within group, proactively managing the financial reporting calendar and driving the process to ensure consistent, timely, accurate and relevant reporting.

The ideal candidate for the role of Group Controller will be:

* Fully qualified ACCA/ACA qualification or equivalent

* Proven experience of a group financial controller with at least 5 years experience of the role, including international subsidiaries (desirable)

* Strong leadership skills with an ability to lead global teams to deliver against tight reporting deadlines

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment

* Team player who can operate globally, cross-functionally and at all levels of the organisation, taking ownership and demonstrating initiative

* Strong understanding of IFRS reporting requirements and interpretation of new standards

* Possess an inquisitive and analytical mindset and be able to understand the commercial and operational side of the business and relate it to the financial performance and metrics that are being reported

* Strong planning and organisational skills, with ability to manage own workload and work to deadlines

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership

* Experience working with ERP financial systems, Sage Intacct, Yooz desirable but not essential

* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, in particular Outlook and Excel
