Groundworks Supervisor – Ipswich
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Rate: Competitive / DOE
Start: ASAP
EA Associates are currently looking for an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to join a busy commercial project in Ipswich on an initial 6-month contract.
We are looking for a confident and experienced Supervisor with a strong background in groundworks and civil engineering, ideally with previous experience working on commercial sites.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Groundworks Supervisor
* Previous experience working on commercial projects
* SMSTS qualification
* Strong knowledge of groundworks and civil engineering
* Able to manage and coordinate site operatives and subcontractors
* Good understanding of health & safety and site procedures
* Reliable, organised and able to work independently
* CSCS card
The Role:
* Supervising groundworks activities on site
* Managing site operatives and subcontractors
* Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme
* Liaising with site management and other trades
* Maintaining high standards of health & safety
* Supporting the smooth running of day-to-day site operations
6-month contract with the potential for further work.
