Job Title: Groundworks Squad (Ganger, x2 Groundworkers)

Location: Dundonnell

Duration: Ongoing

Start: ASAP

Hours: 11 days on, 3 days off rotation. Monday to Friday - 13 hours per day available (including travel). Saturday – 7:00am until 4:30pm. Sunday – 8:00am until 3:00pm.

Nightshift starting on 21st August for a period of time.

Rates: Negotiable and one way travel paid.

We are looking for a Groundworks Squad consisting of an experienced Ganger and two Groundworkers for our client’s large project in Dundonnell.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and supervise a groundworks squad carrying out culvert installation

* Carry out groundworks associated with culvert installation.

* Experience with culvert installation, bedding, alignment and backfilling.

* Excavate and prepare trenches to the required levels and gradients.

* Carry out associated drainage and general civils works

* Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard

* Maintain high standards of health & safety

Requirements

* Previous experience working on culverts is essential.

* Groundworks and drainage experience.

* CSCS card required.

* CPCS/NPORS Plant and Vehicle Marshal ticket (Advantageous)

* Ability to read and work from drawings and levels.

* Strong understanding of site health & safety.

* Ganger must have proven previous experience in leading a small squad including safety and quality

* Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
