Groundworks Site Manager
Location: Takeley, Essex
Rate: £350 per day
Contract: 18 months
Start Date: Immediate
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Groundworks Site Manager to oversee groundworks packages on a large residential development in Takeley, Essex.
This is an excellent long-term contract opportunity, offering 18 months of work on a brand-new residential development. You will play a key role in managing groundworks operations, coordinating site teams and ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Managing and overseeing all groundworks operations on site.
*
Coordinating subcontractors, plant, labour and site resources.
*
Monitoring programme progress and ensuring works are delivered to schedule.
*
Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
*
Conducting toolbox talks, site inspections and safety briefings.
*
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control.
*
Monitoring site performance and resolving operational issues.
*
Working closely with the wider project team to ensure the smooth delivery of groundworks packages.
Essential Requirements
*
Proven Site Management experience within groundworks and residential construction.
*
Valid SMSTS certificate.
*
Valid CSCS card.
*
First Aid at Work certificate.
*
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
*
Good understanding of residential infrastructure and groundworks packages.
*
Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate site activities effectively.
