Groundworks Ganger - St Albans (AL3)

Location: St Albans, AL3
Rate: £21.60 per hour CIS
Start: Immediate
Job Type: Temporary / Ongoing

We are currently looking for an experienced Groundworks Ganger to join a busy project near St Albans (AL3).

The successful candidate will have solid experience working on drainage and water projects and be confident leading and coordinating a small groundworks team on site.

Requirements:

Valid CSCS card
EUSR Water Hygiene Passport - Units 1 & 2
Tames Water Passport - can be arranged for the right candidate
Previous experience working on water and drainage projects
Proven experience as a Groundworks Ganger
Good understanding of drainage, excavation and general groundworks
Able to lead a team and work effectively with site management
Strong understanding of health & safety and site procedures
Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team

Duties:

Supervising and coordinating groundworkers
Working on drainage and water infrastructure projects
Setting out and overseeing groundworks activities
Ensuring work is completed safely and to the required standard
Liaising with Site Management and other trades
Carrying out general ganger/groundworks duties as requiredRate: £21.60 per hour CIS
