We are looking for an experienced and reliable Commercial Groundworks Foreman to join a busy construction team working on commercial groundworks and civil engineering projects in and around Maidenhead.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising groundworks teams and coordinating day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead groundworks teams on commercial construction sites.
*
Coordinate subcontractors, plant operators and labour.
*
Organise daily site activities and ensure works remain on programme.
*
Read and work from construction drawings and specifications.
*
Oversee excavation, drainage, foundations and concrete works.
*
Manage ducting, kerbing, roads and associated external works.
*
Coordinate plant, materials and deliveries.
*
Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure works meet project requirements.
*
Maintain high standards of health and safety on site.
*
Identify and resolve day-to-day site issues.
*
Liaise with Site Managers, Engineers and other trades to keep projects progressing.
Requirements
*
Previous experience as a Groundworks Foreman or Senior Groundworker.
*
Strong knowledge of commercial groundworks and civil engineering.
*
Good understanding of construction drawings and site procedures.
*
Proven ability to lead and motivate a site team.
*
Strong health and safety awareness.
*
Reliable, organised and able to work under pressure.
*
Relevant plant, groundworks or supervisory qualifications are desirable.
