Good Groundworkers & Groundwork Handymen Wanted in Hailsham
Essential Role Requirements:
* Reviewing drawings and relevant documentation.
* You will need to be competent in the use and set up of trench boxes, drag boxes, and manhole boxes.
* Must be able to use Pipe lasers.
* Lay Concrete, Clay, and Plastic Pipes – All sizes
* Manage ground water setting up correct size pump for the job in hand.
* Ensuring pipes are tested and laid on correct bed and surround.
* Ensuring backfilling to trenches is correct.
* Benching of all manholes.
* Trained in the use of harnesses.
* External Works/Kerbs/Edgings/slabs/block paving.
* Have a detailed knowledge of the correct use of materials and products relating to underground drainage, road make up and formation, kerbing, and external works (hard and soft landscaping).
Desirable:
* Additional CPCS/NPORS* tickets and experienced in operating any of the following: Telehandlers, Dumpers, Rollers is expected with a groundwork handyman, especially for the top rates.
* 10+ Years experience ground working.
* Good additional men to bring along is expected with such a role.
General Expectations:

* Able to work well with other trades and operatives on site and support the programme delivery on time.
