Description:
Our client is looking for experienced Rail Groundworkers to join their permanent workforce on rail and civil engineering projects across South Wales.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous rail experience and relevant PTS/tickets who are looking for secure, long-term employment with a reputable rail contractor.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out groundworks and general civil engineering duties within a rail environment.
* Assist with excavation, drainage, concreting, foundations and associated works.
* Work safely around live railway infrastructure and within rail possessions.
* Operate plant and equipment where suitably qualified.
* Follow site RAMS, safety procedures and railway standards.
* Work effectively as part of a site team.
* Undertake nights, weekends and possession work when required.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
* Previous rail experience – essential.
* Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) – essential.
* Relevant rail/civil engineering tickets and competencies.
* Experience working within possessions and around railway infrastructure.
* CSCS/CPCS/NPORS tickets where applicable.
* Full understanding of rail health & safety requirements.
* A good attitude towards safety, reliability and teamwork.
* Right to work in the UK.
Additional rail tickets/competencies are highly desirable, including plant, machine or track-related qualifications
