Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (PAYE)
Salary: £15/hour (higher rates available depending on experience, qualifications, and tickets)
About the Role
Force Contracting Services are recruiting experienced Groundworkers to join our team on a long-term civil engineering project at Heysham Nuclear Power Station. This is a permanent PAYE position offering stable, year-round work, ongoing training, and clear opportunities for progression within a growing civil engineering contractor.
Duties:
* Drainage installation and repairs
* Excavation and trenching works
* Ducting and utility installation
* Kerbing, edging, and finishing works
* Concrete works and reinstatement
* Assisting plant operators and site teams
* Working to site drawings and specifications
* Maintaining high standards of health and safety
* Working effectively as part of a civils team
Requirements:
* Valid CSCS Card
* Previous groundworks experience on civils or infrastructure projects
* Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Willingness to work at Heysham Nuclear Power Station
* Additional plant or streetworks tickets advantageous
