Skilled Groundworkers (2 Positions)
Location: Etruria Vale, Clough Street, Stoke-on-Trent, ST1 4AS
Start Date: 10 August 2026
Duration: Until 4 September 2026
Rate: £200 per day

We are recruiting 2 Skilled Groundworkers for a short-term assignment on a Barhale site in Stoke-on-Trent, starting immediately.

We're looking for experienced operatives with a strong civils background who are happy to undertake general groundworks as well as supporting specialist tasks on site.

Positions Available

* 1 x Skilled Groundworker with Dumper Ticket

* 1 x Skilled Groundworker with Confined Space Ticket

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out general civil engineering and groundwork activities.

* Support site operations safely and efficiently.

* Operate plant where qualified (Dumper role).

* Assist with confined space works where qualified.

* Confined Space operative must be competent in pointing up shafts and using a trowel to complete repair works.

* Work as part of the site team to deliver the project safely and on programme.

Requirements

* Previous civil engineering or groundwork experience.

* CSCS Card (essential).

* 1 x Valid Forward Tipping Dumper Ticket (for the Dumper role).

* 1 x Valid Confined Space Certificate (for the Confined Space role).

* Ability to undertake general groundwork duties in addition to specialist responsibilities.

* Reliable, hardworking, and able to start immediately.
