About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Groundworker, Wet Trade Operative, or Bricklayer to join our team delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services across Ministry of Defence (MOD) housing properties.

Working across both occupied homes and empty properties, Groundworker will be responsible for completing a wide range of external repair, brickwork, and groundworks tasks. You will take pride in delivering excellent workmanship while providing a professional and respectful service to residents and military families.

Hours of work: 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Key responsibilities:

· Carrying out brickwork repairs, alterations, and rebuilding works

· Completing repointing, rendering, and patch repair works

· Undertaking concreting, paving, fencing, and external maintenance repairs

· Carrying out drainage repairs and minor excavation works

· Completing slabbing, kerbing, and general groundworks

· Supporting responsive repairs and void property refurbishment works

· Making good areas following repair activities

· Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

· Maintaining a professional and courteous approach when working in residents’ homes

· Accurately recording completed works using PDA/mobile technology

About You:

· Proven experience in bricklaying, wet trades, and general groundworks

· Experience working within housing repairs, maintenance, or similar environments is desirable

· The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload

· Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills

· A commitment to delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service

· A full UK driving licence

· A valid CSCS card

· Experience using handheld devices or PDA systems is desirable
