The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker to join a live construction site delivering a new school build. This role focuses on services and drainage work, so we're looking for someone confident laying pipework, ducting, and utilities to a high standard.

Key Duties:

* Installing below-ground drainage systems, including foul and surface water

* Laying and connecting services (water, gas, electric, telecoms ducting)

* Excavation, trench work, and backfilling in line with drawings and specifications

* Setting levels, pipe laying to falls, and manhole construction

* Working safely and efficiently alongside other trades on an active school site

* Ensuring all work meets site safety standards and quality requirements

Requirements:

* Proven experience in groundworks, specifically services/drainage

* Valid CSCS card (essential)

* Confident reading and working from technical/construction drawings

* Own PPE (site will provide additional requirements if needed)

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team

* Experience on school/education sector sites is a plus but not essential
