Amber Employment Services is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established tree surgery contractor based in Woking.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint a reliable and hardworking Groundsman to join their experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside skilled arborists on a variety of domestic and commercial projects across Surrey and the surrounding areas.

Groundsman duties will include:

* Assisting climbers with day-to-day tree surgery operations

* Processing branches and timber

* Operating woodchippers and other ground-based equipment

* Loading and unloading tools, machinery and materials

* Maintaining a clean and safe worksite

* Assisting with tree felling and dismantling operations

* General grounds maintenance and site clearance

* Working safely in accordance with Health & Safety procedures

We're looking for a groundsman who has:

* Previous experience within tree surgery, arboriculture or grounds maintenance

* A positive attitude and strong work ethic

* The ability to work as part of a team

* A willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

* A full UK driving licence (preferred)

* Chainsaw qualifications (desirable but not essential)
