Grounds Maintenance Operative
We are recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join the team managing the sports Pitches in and around the borough of Ilkeston
This role will be starting in asap
Details of the Grounds Maintenance Operative
Salary: £12.18 - £12.38 per hour depending on experience
Overtime available
Standard hours of 37 hours per week, but this role will require a level of flexibility (working days between Monday and Saturday)
Location: Ilkeston
Duration: Ongoing - can lead to permanent opportunities for suitable candidatesRole of the Grounds Maintenance Operative:
To maintain the sports pitches including cricket, bowls, football, rugby, golf etc within the Borough of Ilkeston
Full, clean driving licence is required.
Must have a good understanding of ground maintenance from working in a similar role.
Marking out sports pitches, turf control, and general gardening
Will also need to have the ability to organise work effectively with the team ,safety as the first priority.
Reporting directly to the Parks and Gardens managerBenefits of the Grounds Maintenance Operative:
29 days Holiday per year (increasing after 12 weeks)
