Your new role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join the team based in Horndean where you'll cover Petersfield and surrounding area.We're looking for a proactive, great team player and someone with a good eye for detail who's looking for a new challenge.Working within a team, you'll be responsible for the upkeep of the external communal areas, grass, shrubs and hedges.
You may also be required to undertake soft landscaping/minor tree work.This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and well-driven individual looking to contribute to a dynamic and diverse team. We're always looking to improve ourselves and empower the lives of residents and communities they live in.Don't worry about getting from site to site, you will be provided with a van and fuel card.Hours are 8am to 4.30pm
What you'll need to succeed
For the role we are looking for a reliable candidate with experience of the below
Practical amenity horticultural knowledge & experience*
PA1 and PA6AW qualifications (desirable, but not essential)*
NPTC certification or equivalent (desirable, but not essential)*
A full driver's licence (with towing licence desirable)
What you'll get in return
This will be a temp role paying £12 p/h but with the opportunity to move to a permanent contract. The permanent salary is £24,960
You will have a Van to use and fuel card, tablet and training where required.
