Enjoy a long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity working for a respected and well-established housing association across Solihull and the surrounding areas. This Grounds Maintenance Operative role offers £17.20 per hour, with 13 weeks working through the agency before the opportunity to move into permanent employment.
You’ll be working for a major housing association in the Solihull area, helping to keep communal grounds and green spaces clean, tidy and well maintained. You’ll be part of an experienced team where your contribution will help provide residents with attractive and well-kept outdoor areas as a Grounds Maintenance Operative.
I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Grounds Maintenance Operative, Grounds Person, Gardener, Estate Operative or in a similar grounds maintenance role.
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative you will be:
Grass cutting and general grounds maintenance
Hedge cutting and strimming
Operating ride-on mowers
Carrying out spraying duties where required
Litter picking and keeping communal areas tidy
Maintaining outdoor areas across housing association propertiesI’d love to speak to anyone who has:
Previous grounds maintenance or gardening experience
Experience using grounds maintenance machinery, including ride-on mowers
A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
A willingness to undertake a DBS check
