Grounds Maintenance Driver
Wolverhampton, Midlands
£11.44 to £12.20 per hour
Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm (40 hours per week)
Our environmental and leisure services client maintain outdoor, commercial and hospitality spaces such as retail parks, hotels and sports grounds.
We have seasonal, temporary opportunities to join their team as a Grounds Maintenance Driver.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4pm.
The job is to effectively assistant a grounds maintenance team, ensuring client requirements and contract specifications are fully met.
A full, manual driving licence is required as successful applicants will be driving company vans and using ride-on mowers.
We are looking for pro-active individuals with a good work ethic who are team players and reliable. Applicants are expected to work in all types of weather.
For the right people, there are opportunities to secure permanent employment.
Duties include:
* Grass and hedge cutting using petrol mowers and strimmers
* Litter picking, sweeping and leaf clearance
* Basic flowerbed maintenance
* Ensuring grounds maintenance equipment, tools and machinery are kept clean and in good working order
* A great team player
* Driving a company van (full, manual licence)
* Ensure you work in the safest possible way at all times
