Description:
Grounds Maintenance/Area Operatives required, driving licence preferred however not essential if you have strong maintenance experience.
Main duties include:
* Maintaining grass on roundabouts, parks and highways
* Strimming
* Litter picking where needed and keeping the area generally tidy
* Street Sweeping (manual or with pedestrian controlled sweeper)
* Removal of graffiti
* Clearance of fly tipping
* Emptying of litter and dog waste bins
* Grass cutting (using pedestrian or ride-on mowers)
* Hedge trimming and winter maintenance pruning
* Checking the safety of play equipment and reporting defects as necessary
Requirements:
* Must be able to travel to West Thurrock, South Ockendon, Grays, Aveley
* Working hours Monday - Friday 7:30 - 3:30
