I am looking for an experienced Ground Maintenance Operative to cover all aspects of ground work across the Cemetaries in Warrington.

Working within Bereavement Services departments, you would be working 37 hours per week. Hours are Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 16.00pm, Friday 8.00am - 15.30pm.


To carry out relevant duties in relation to grounds maintenance of cemeteries, closed church yards, crematorium and other WBC depots
Planting, seeding, pruning, hoeing and weeding of shrub bed
Using a range of hand tools
Operating hand held light plant and machinery including pedestrian mowers, strimmers, hedge strimmers, chainsaws, back pack blowers, off road ride on mowing machines
Tree care / planting / propagation
Basic setting out /to carry out cleansings including emptying bins, litter picking and removing fly tipping as requested. Carry out refuse / recycling collection when requested.

Full UK driving licence required
Temporary Contract
