Pay Rate: £13.43 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm
Shifts: Rotating shifts (6:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 10:00pm)
About the Role:
Our Client is looking for a skilled and detail‑focused Grinder to join their production team. This role involves finishing metal components to a high standard, ensuring smooth surfaces and quality outcomes across a variety of products.
You will work on a rotating shift pattern and play a key role in maintaining production quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Grind and linish metal components to meet required specifications
* Operate hand tools and grinding machinery safely and efficiently
* Inspect finished products to ensure high-quality standards are met
* Remove imperfections and prepare surfaces for further processing
* Work closely with production teams to meet deadlines
* Maintain a safe and tidy working environment
About You:
* Previous experience in grinding, linishing or metal finishing (preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and quality
* Ability to work with hand tools and machinery
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work rotating shifts
* Good team player with a proactive approach
