What will you be doing?

As a Grinder, you'll play a crucial role in refining precision forgings to meet exacting standards, following Standard Operating Procedures, Route Card Discipline, and all Health & Safety requirements. You'll work with materials such as Titanium, Aluminium, and Steel alloys, ensuring impeccable finishes using a variety of grinding tools and abrasives.

* Remove Defects: Responsible for removing defects on forgings.

* Master Tools: Skillfully use pedestal grinder and various air tools.

* Material Expertise: Work with Titanium, Aluminium, and Steel alloys.

* Perfect Finishes: Achieve high-standard surface finishes using various grinding tools and abrasives.

* Inspection Savvy: Understand and apply visual inspection standards and specifications.

* Versatile Tasks: Perform other ad hoc duties as required within the manufacturing cell.

* Hit Metrics: Able to achieve key metrics set by the company.

* Quick Fixes: React quickly and efficiently to rework issues to ensure company targets are met.

* Safety First: Adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) adherence.

What will you bring to the party?

* Certified in using wheel abrasive tools.

* Trained in operating cranes safely.

* Forklift Truck Licence

* Proven experience working within a grinding role is preferred.

* Proficient in precision grinding techniques.
