Job Title: Grave Digger (Temporary)

Our client, a leading organisation in the cemetery industry, is seeking a Grave Digger to join their team on a temporary basis. If you have previous experience in gravedigging and are ready to be part of a dedicated and supportive team, this could be the perfect role for you!

What you'll be doing:

Performing machine and hand excavation to efficiently create graves
Backfilling excavations and ensuring a tidy and respectful environment
Maintaining the grounds to the highest standards
Working to strict timescales and following instructions accurately
Familiarity with installation of excavation shoring and adherence to all Health and Safety regulationsWhat you'll need:

Previous gravedigging experience is highly desirable
Physical ability to lift, handle, and conduct hand excavation
Experience operating a mechanical excavator, specifically the Bobcat 1.7 series
Familiarity with operating the Thwaites dumper (1 tonne)
