Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Part-Time | Long-Term Temporary Assignment
Hours: Approximately 18 hours per week
Duration: Until at least December, with the potential for extension
Pay: £175 - £260 per day (dependent on experience)

Position Overview

A highly regarded sixth form college in Southampton is seeking a Graphics & Digital Media Teacher to join their creative faculty on a part-time basis as soon as possible.

This long-term opportunity will involve teaching A-Level and Level 3 Digital Media/Graphics-related courses for approximately 18 hours per week. The successful candidate will inspire students through engaging lessons that develop their creative, digital and visual communication skills while preparing them for further study and careers within the creative industries.

The role is expected to continue until at least December, with the possibility of being extended beyond this point.

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant post-16 teaching qualification
Experience teaching Digital Media, Graphics, Media Studies or related creative subjects
Strong knowledge of creative industry practices and digital technologies
Experience delivering Level 3 or A-Level qualifications is desirable
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Passion for developing students' creative abilities and career aspirations
Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
