Graduate/Junior CAD Designer (Racking  & Storage)

Alexander James Recruiting is currently representing an industry leading manufacturer in the Warehouse Storage industry that is looking to bring on a new Junior/Graduate Designer to work on projects for their clients from their site in the West Midlands. With a competitive package and opportunities for progression, this is a great opportunity for a trainee/graduate with experience of designing using CAD software. 

Responsibilities 

Using CAD software to design and create technical drawings and plans based requirements supplied by the sales team
Editing designs and various stages of the process as the customer requires 
Checking the feasibility of the manufacture and construction of the product
Ensuring that all drawings comply with the health and safety protocols set out by the industry
Liaising with the sales team in order to ensure the customers’ requirements are realisticRequirements

The company are open candidates from a variety of backgrounds provided they have used, and have a strong understanding of, CAD software. You may have some basic experience of CAD within your career to date although this isn’t essential as long as you understand the software. You may be a recent graduate in an engineering discipline. It is essential that you live within commutable distance of the company’s offices in Wolverhampton.

Benefits

Up to £30,000 base salary, depending on experience
