The client, an exciting and experienced Transport, and Infrastructure Design Consultancy, who specialising in enhancing the built and natural environment in a positive way, is looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Transport Planner to join the team. They work across a range of sectors including residential, retail, sport & leisure, office, distribution and industrial projects, education and healthcare, and mixed-use schemes.
The Position as a Transport Planner
As a Graduate Transport Planner, you will be involved in all streams of workflow supporting the Senior members of Staff! You will have the opportunity to contribute to a number of exciting projects from the planning through to design and delivery. The successful Graduate Transport Planner will be able to consolidate the core skill of becoming a successful planning.
Responsibilities for the graduate Transport Planner will include:
Assisting in data collection & analysis
Building transport model using various modelling tools
Planning and evaluating future transport schemes
Review drawing and documents Including Transport Assessments and Travel Plans and assisting the preparation of reports, presentations, bids, and proposals.Essential Requirements of a Transport Planner
A degree in a related subject (MSc in Transport is desirable)
Experience with preparing transport statements, Assessments, Travel Plans and Construction Traffic Management Plans and inputs to Environment Impact Assessments.
