Our Graduate Programme 2024 – Trainee Pension Administration Consultant 

Our Pension Administration team provide services to over 400 clients, covering defined benefit and defined contribution pensions schemes. Offering first class support, delivered by a diverse and highly experienced team who are experts in their field.  

You will have the change to launch your career in a team who pride themselves on offering first class support, delivered in a supportive environment, by a highly experienced team of experts. 

Supporting an occupational pension scheme means that no two days are ever the same.  Your day could involve managing a multi-million pound investment, exercising compassion when dealing with a bereaved relative, being alert to the possibility of pension fraud and carrying out complex calculations with reference to statutory regulations and legal documents. 

The programme offers a comprehensive package of training and skills development, enabling you to gain an excellent understanding of the role and team. You will gain an understanding of how the business area operates and the opportunity to learn from our Partners and dedicated team members, along with the chance to study towards professional qualifications. 

The Graduate programme within our Pension Administration team will give you the chance to be involved in multiple exciting projects and development opportunities. An indication of the types of work you can expect to be involved with as part of the programme are detailed below: 

Supporting Members 

Working as part of a team to support pension scheme members with day-to-day queries. Offering comprehensive, quality advice and guidance. 

Projects and Analysis Team 

Working with project managers and business analysts providing support on a variety of projects. 

Systems Support 

Managing member data within our in-house administration system, managing and manipulating data 

Client Relationship Management 

Working with the client relationship managers to build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients

Professional Qualifications 

As graduate you'll be developing through the business by learning on the job, alongside studying towards professional qualifications with the Pension Management Institute (PMI) - Award in Pension Essentials (APE), Retirement Provision Certificate (RPC)

Our current graduate vacancies require a degree pass, in any discipline, along with a strong interest to work and advance a career within the professional services industry. We require dedicated individuals with a strong academic background who are dynamic, proactive and have good communication skills.
