About the Role: Do you have a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? GSL Education is looking for a dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team in Gateshead. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced SEN professionals and make a positive impact on students' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
Support classroom teachers in delivering differentiated lessons to meet the needs of SEN students.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
Degree qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Psychology).
Experience or understanding of working with students with SEN.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to promoting inclusion and equality in education.
