About the Role:
GSL Education is seeking a passionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to support Post 16 students in Newcastle. This role involves providing academic and pastoral support to help students achieve their educational goals and prepare for their future endeavors.
Responsibilities:
Assist subject teachers in delivering tailored support to Post 16 students.
Support individual students or small groups in understanding and applying learning objectives.
Provide assistance with classroom activities, assignments, and exam preparation.
Help students develop study skills, organizational strategies, and independent learning habits.
Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor student progress and implement support strategies as needed.
The successful candidate will:
Hold a degree in Education or a related field.
Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Show empathy, patience, and resilience when working with students.
Be dedicated to promoting inclusion and equal opportunities for all students.
