The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and enhancing the learning experience for students. Your responsibilities will include:

Classroom Support: Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery.
Intervention Work: Provide targeted support through intervention work across KS1 and KS2 to help students achieve their learning goals.
Individual and Group Support: Work with individual students and small groups to offer tailored assistance and foster a positive learning environment.
Engagement and Interaction: Foster a positive and engaging learning environment by interacting with students and encouraging participation.
Resource Management: Help manage classroom resources and ensure a tidy and organized learning space.
Extracurricular Activities: Support school-wide activities and events, contributing to the vibrant school culture.

Qualifications and Skills

A recent graduate with a degree in any discipline.
A strong desire to pursue a career in education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting student learning.
Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
