Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of students across various subjects. This role is ideal for a recent graduate considering a career in education or someone looking to gain valuable experience before pursuing further qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in the delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who require additional assistance.
Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
Support the planning and execution of extracurricular activities.
Assist in the assessment and tracking of student progress.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Supervise students during break times and school trips.
Undertake administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

A recent graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree in any subject.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for education and working with young people.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
