With schools returning for the September 2026 academic year, we are recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to work across a range of mainstream secondary schools.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the classroom, develop your skills and build valuable experience before progressing into teacher training or a career in education.

The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you could be supporting pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, working alongside experienced teachers and helping students to reach their potential.

You may be involved in:

Supporting pupils in lessons and small-group activities
Providing 1:1 support where required
Helping teachers with classroom activities
Supporting pupils with their learning and development
Building positive relationships with students
Gaining valuable experience of secondary school life
Potentially supporting pupils with additional learning needs

What We're Looking For

A degree or relevant qualification
An interest in working with young people
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Enthusiasm, patience and a positive attitude
Commitment to supporting pupils and education
Previous experience with children is beneficial but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
