Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: Sheffield

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm

Are you a recent Graduate looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact primary student education? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a graduate Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team at a primary school in Sheffield. The role will involve working with students across the primary age range. The school are seeking an individual with prior experience working or volunteering in a school or experience working with young people.ed

Key Responsibilities:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant your primary responsibilities will include:

Individual Support: Offer one-to-one assistance for students who require additional help.
Whole Class Support: Providing support for the class under the direction of the class teacher.
Behaviour Management: Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assessment and Reporting: Assist in the assessment of students' progress and contribute to written reports.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the teaching team, parents, and external professionals to support the overall development of students.Qualifications and Experience:

Prior experience working as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting or prior experience working with young people.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for education and the well-being of students.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
