The successful candidate will support students across KS3 and KS4, working both in the classroom and in small-group interventions. Experience supporting students with SEN is highly desirable, and the school would welcome applications from candidates who can also speak French.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have previous experience working with young people in a school, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or support capacity.
Be passionate about education and helping students achieve their potential.
Have experience supporting students with SEN and additional learning needs.
Possess a strong academic background in English, Humanities, or a related subject.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be proactive, resilient, and confident building relationships with students and staff.
Have an interest in future teacher-training pathways.
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
French-speaking ability would be highly desirable.Experience, Training and Qualifications

Degree or Master's qualification in English, Humanities, or a related subject.
Previous experience working with young people.
Experience supporting students with SEN.
Strong understanding of behaviour management and student engagement strategies.
Up-to-date safeguarding training (desirable but not essential).To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:

Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all compliance procedures.
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
