Are you a graduate looking to start a career in education and gain valuable experience working with young people?
We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to join a secondary school in Harrow on a long-term, full-time basis, with the potential to become permanent.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are considering a career in teaching, educational psychology, youth work, SEN or other education-related fields.
What You'll Do
Support students across KS3 and KS4 with their learning and development
Provide one-to-one and small-group support
Help students overcome barriers to learning
Build positive relationships with students
Work alongside teachers and support staff
Encourage confidence, independence and resilience
Support a positive and inclusive learning environmentWhat We're Looking For
Positive, enthusiastic and approachable
Ideally, educated to degree level and/or experience working with teenagers in education, youth work, coaching, tutoring etc
Experience with SEN (such as ADHD, dyslexia, Autism or SEMH) is desirable
Strong communication skills
