Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

SEMH Specialist School - Warrington - Up to £600 per week - Full-Time

A specialist SEMH school in Warrington is seeking a dedicated and resilient Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their growing support team. This opportunity is particularly well suited to graduates hoping to pursue careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Therapy, or SEN Education.

The Role - Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs including SEMH, ADHD, Autism, attachment difficulties, and behavioural challenges.

Working across both 1:1 and small-group interventions, you will help pupils overcome barriers to learning, improve emotional regulation, and build confidence within the classroom. Developing strong relationships will be central to your success, as many pupils benefit from consistent support, positive role models, and clear boundaries.

The varied nature of the role provides excellent exposure to a broad range of SEN and SEMH needs, making it ideal preparation for graduates considering future careers within psychology, mental health, therapy, social care, or specialist education.
