Graduate Teaching Assistant (Post-16)
Location: Washington, Tyne and Wear
Salary: £83 - £130 per day
Start Date: ASAP
GSL Education are seeking motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to join our clients' Post-16 institutions in Washington, Tyne and Wear. This role is ideal for graduates who are keen to support older students and gain experience in a post-16 educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist lecturers in planning and delivering lessons.
Provide academic support to students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
Help manage student behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
Support the implementation of learning strategies and individual education plans (IEPs).
Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
Requirements:
A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine interest in supporting post-16 education.
An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
