Graduate Geoenvironmental Engineer
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary consultancy in Sheffield.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their career within the geo-environmental sector, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of ground investigation and contaminated land projects.
The Role:
Assist with the planning and delivery of ground investigations.
Undertake site visits, soil sampling and groundwater monitoring.
Interpret ground investigation and laboratory data.
Assist with Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Assessments.
Support contaminated land assessments and risk assessments.
Prepare factual and interpretative technical reports.
Liaise with clients, contractors and other engineering professionals.Requirements:
Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
An interest in geo-environmental engineering and contaminated land.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Full UK driving licence desirable.What's on Offer:
