Graduate Fire Engineer | Fire Engineering Consultancy | Building Safety
An established fire safety consultancy is looking for a motivated Graduate Fire Engineer to join their growing team. The consultancy specialises in providing practical, technically sound fire safety solutions, supporting clients with fire engineering, regulatory compliance and building safety across a range of projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Fire Engineer to develop their technical knowledge, gain exposure to a variety of buildings and work alongside experienced fire safety professionals.
The Graduate Fire Engineer's Role
As a Graduate Fire Engineer, you will support the delivery of fire engineering and fire safety consultancy services, helping clients achieve safe, compliant and practical solutions.
Assist in producing fire strategies for new-build and existing buildings.
Support fire risk assessments and fire safety reviews.
Contribute to technical reports and fire engineering assessments.
Review architectural drawings and building designs against relevant fire safety guidance.
Develop an understanding of Approved Document B, BS 9999 and relevant building regulations.
Liaise with architects, contractors and other construction professionals.
Support senior engineers with site inspections and technical advice.
The Graduate Fire Engineer
The successful Graduate Fire Engineer will have:
A degree in Fire Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering or a closely related discipline.
An interest in fire safety, building regulations and the built environment.
An understanding of fire engineering principles and relevant UK legislation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
A willingness to learn and develop within a specialist consultancy.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
